Dear students,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 Fall Semester!

Please follow the official website of MATH 119  and MATH 119 All Sections on ODTÜClass regularly. We will usually use ODTÜClass for general news, announcements, and sharing content.

Please read the MATH 119 Course Syllabus and Policy carefully.  It contains all the necessary information that you need to know about the structure of MATH 119.  Emails including the information written here will NOT be replied.

Attend lectures and recitations according to the classrooms announced in Schedule of Lectures and Recitations. (It will be uploaded after registration is over) (Do NOT use the classrooms given in METU SAIS). We may need to rearrange this schedule from time to time. Please check it regularly.

If you have a conflict between your lecture section or  recitation section and another course, you may attend the section which is suitable for you(Effective from Week 3, regular attendance will be taken during both recitations and lectures.) . After the add-drop week, your recitation section may be changed to a suitable section by the coordination but only conflicts will be considered as an excuse. Otherwise, you need to attend your correct section. More information about this will be given later.

You may contact the course coordination via email at wwwma119@metu.edu.tr in case of necessity.

Best,

MATH 119 Coordination
